Antique map, circa 1757. Shows southern China, the Malay Peninsula, and the East Indies. It includes Taiwan (Formosa), the Philippines, Vietnam (Tonquin and Cochinchine), Laos, Cambodia, Thailand (Siam), Malay, Singapore, Sumatra, Borneo, and much of Indonesia. Originally part of Covens and Mortier’s “Atlas Nouveau”, published in Amsterdam circa 1757.
